This study aims to describe and analyze the application of Freytag’s dramatic structure in the film’s storyline, which consists of five main stages: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using Miles and Huberman’s data analysis model to explore the narrative construction in the film. The results reveal that each stage of Freytag’s structure is clearly identifiable and cohesively forms a dramatic sequence, portraying Zira’s transformation from a spiritually fragile woman into a mature, faithful, and resilient individual. The exposition presents the emotional roots of the conflict, the rising action illustrates the hijrah process and Zira’s meeting with Ameer, the climax portrays the peak of happiness in marriage, the falling action shows the struggle with illness, and the resolution conveys a profound sense of loss and life meaning. The findings conclude that Freytag’s structure is effective for analyzing true-story films with strong religious values. This study contributes to the development of narrative film analysis, particularly in religious cinema, and may serve as a reference for filmmakers in crafting emotionally resonant and meaningful storylines.
Kurnia Widiawati Etty Umamy Khoirul Efendiy Copyright (c) 2026 Kurnia Widiawati, Etty Umamy, Khoirul Efendiy https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 209 218 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.107 Pengelolaan Sistem Drainase Berbasis Partisipasi Masyarakat di Kecamatan Tanggulangin, Kabupaten Sidoarjo https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/142
Rapid population growth and land-use changes in urban areas often reduce the capacity of drainage systems, leading to waterlogging in residential neighborhoods. This condition is also evident in Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency, where several residential areas experience drainage dysfunction due to inadequate channel capacity and weak environmental management. This study aims to analyze the condition of residential drainage systems and formulate community-based management strategies. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, involving local residents, village officials, and technical agencies. Data were collected through field observations, semi-structured interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and documentation. The findings indicate that most drainage channels in the three study villages, Kedungbanteng, Banjarpanji, and Kalidawir, have experienced narrowing and siltation caused by sediment accumulation and domestic waste. Approximately 60% of the tertiary drainage network is not connected to the main secondary channels, resulting in frequent waterlogging in residential areas. Furthermore, community participation in drainage maintenance remains sporadic and lacks formal institutional organization. The study highlights that community-based drainage management, through participatory drainage mapping, the establishment of community-level drainage monitoring teams, and the implementation of simple infiltration technologies such as infiltration wells and biopores, can strengthen surface water management capacity in a more adaptive and sustainable manner.
Alfian Huda Aunur Hasyir Wahyu Aunur Rahman Hakim Copyright (c) 2026 Alfian Huda Aunur Hasyir, Wahyu Aunur Rahman Hakim https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 219 230 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.142 Karakteristik dan Distribusi Sampah Laut Makro di Pesisir Teluk Ambon https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/166
Marine debris has become a major environmental concern in coastal areas, particularly in semi-enclosed waters such as Ambon Bay. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of macro marine debris based on material composition, quantity, mass, and density across four coastal monitoring stations in Ambon Bay. Field surveys were conducted in December 2025 using the shoreline transect method in accordance with the national marine debris monitoring guidelines. Macro debris larger than 2.5 cm was collected, classified by material type, counted, and weighed. Variations in material composition were assessed using the Shannon–Wiener diversity index (H'), while differences in debris mass among stations were analyzed using the non-parametric Kruskal–Wallis test. The results showed that plastic was the dominant material at all stations, resulting in low material diversity. Significant spatial differences in macro marine debris mass were also observed among the stations, with Poka exhibiting the highest debris accumulation, whereas Lateri showed a relatively more diverse material composition than the other stations. These findings indicate that the characteristics of macro marine debris vary spatially across Ambon Bay, highlighting the need for site-specific management strategies to support more effective coastal marine debris control
Fahrul Rozy Fakaubun Muhammad Fahrul Barcinta Milyan Uli Latue Eva S. This study aims to identify and synthesize resilience indicators and methodological approaches using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data were collected from Scopus and Google Scholar via Publish or Perish, yielding 172 initial articles, which were filtered down to 10 relevant studies. The results show that core ecological indicators—live coral cover, herbivore biomass, juvenile recruitment, macroalgae cover, and structural complexity—are consistently used as primary determinants of resilience. Anthropogenic pressures and socio-economic conditions also influence adaptive capacity but do not replace biophysical factors. However, variations in measurement methods, normalization, and indicator weighting limit cross-study comparability. Therefore, a standardized, transparent, and comparable assessment framework is needed. In conclusion, standardizing indicators and methods is essential to improve assessment reliability and support sustainable coral reef management and conservation.
Muhammad Fahrul Barcinta Zurnida Haulussy Fahrul Rozy Fakaubun Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Fahrul Barcinta, Zurnida Haulussy, Fahrul Rozy Fakaubun https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 241 253 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.168 Teknologi Mekatronika dalam Otomatisasi Pertanian: Proyek Penyiram Tanaman Otomatis Berbasis ESP32 https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/122
The advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has created significant opportunities to improve resource management efficiency in the agricultural sector, particularly in automated irrigation systems. This study aimed to design and evaluate an automatic plant irrigation system based on the ESP32 microcontroller capable of monitoring and controlling environmental conditions in real time. An engineering experimental approach was employed, including literature review, hardware and software design, system integration, performance testing, and data analysis. The developed system consists of an ESP32 microcontroller, a YL-69 soil moisture sensor, a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor, a relay module, and a direct current (DC) water pump. Remote monitoring and control were implemented through Blynk and Telegram applications using WiFi connectivity. System testing was conducted under various soil moisture conditions to assess sensor accuracy, automation responsiveness, and communication stability. The results indicate that the system operated automatically according to predefined soil moisture thresholds, achieving sensor accuracy above 90%. Furthermore, water use efficiency improved by 25–30% compared to manual irrigation methods. The system successfully transmitted real-time data with an average delay of less than three seconds. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of an IoT-based automatic irrigation system has strong potential to support smart farming practices that are more efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable, particularly for household-scale, greenhouse, and urban agriculture applications.
Aroihan Khozinatul Asror Panji Romadon Luis Desta Vianus Copyright (c) 2026 Aroihan Khozinatul Asror, Panji Romadon, Luis Desta Vianus https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 131 139 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.122 Digital Forensic Study on Network Security Systems to Improve User Trust in Digital Technology https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/161
This study proposes an integrated framework that combines digital forensics, machine learning-based intrusion detection, and user trust assessment to enhance network security. A quantitative field-experimental approach was employed in a simulated network environment. A dataset of 5,000 network log records was used to train and evaluate a Random Forest classifier for cyberattack detection. In addition, a survey of 100 users was conducted to assess perceived security and trust using a 10-point Likert scale. The results indicate that the proposed approach improved attack detection accuracy from 80% to 95% while reducing the average detection time from 7 to 5 seconds. The Random Forest model achieved an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC-AUC) of 0.90, demonstrating strong classification performance. Furthermore, the mean user trust score increased from 6.8 to 8.5 following system implementation. These findings suggest that integrating digital forensic analysis with machine learning has the potential to improve both technical network security performance and users' perceived trust in digital systems.
Ammar Yasir Nasution Copyright (c) 2026 Ammar Yasir Nasution https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 140 147 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.161 Perbandingan Kinerja IndoBERT dan IndoRoBERTa dengan Penerapan SMOTE dalam Deteksi Ujaran Kebencian Berbahasa Indonesia https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/167
The rapid growth of social media in Indonesia has increased digital interaction while also giving rise to hate speech issues that affect communication quality and social stability. This study aims to compare the performance of two Transformer-based models, IndoBERT and IndoRoBERTa, in Indonesian-language hate speech classification and to evaluate the effect of the SMOTE data balancing technique. The dataset consisted of Indonesian-language Twitter data that underwent preprocessing and was divided using an 80:20 stratified train-test split. Preliminary observations in Class X-2 of SMA Nusantara Bungah revealed that many students had not achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC), while the learning process was still dominated by lecture-based instruction, which tended to be monotonous. Therefore, a more innovative and interactive learning medium is needed to improve students’ understanding. This study aimed to determine students’ level of understanding before the use of Kahoot-based game learning media, describe the implementation process of Kahoot in Al-Qur’an and Hadith learning, and examine students’ level of understanding after using the media. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 22 students from Class X-2 selected through total sampling. Data were collected through observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments were developed based on learning media indicators and comprehension indicators derived from Bloom’s Taxonomy. The results showed that before the implementation of Kahoot, most students demonstrated low to moderate levels of understanding, with average scores remaining below the MMC. Kahoot was implemented through game-based quizzes supported by digital devices. During the learning process, students appeared more active, enthusiastic, and engaged. After the use of Kahoot, students’ understanding improved, as indicated by higher posttest scores and an increased number of students achieving the MMC. These findings suggest that Kahoot is an effective learning medium for improving students’ understanding in Al-Qur’an and Hadith subjects.
Ahmad Mughni Labib Al Ikhwani Alimin Muttaqin Khabibullah Copyright (c) 2026 Ahmad Mughni Labib Al Ikhawani, Alimin, Muttaqin Khabibullah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 164 176 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.132 A Linguistic Study of Code-Mixing in Livy Renata’s YouTube Content: The Case of “Who Knows Me Better Yasuke VS Jerome!” https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/141
The phenomenon of code-mixing has become increasingly common on social media platforms such as YouTube, where creators engage audiences from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This study addresses the limited research on the specific forms of code-mixing employed by Indonesian YouTubers, focusing on Livy Renata. This study aims to identify and classify the types of code-mixing used in her YouTube content. Using Muysken’s (2000) theoretical framework, this study analyzed language data from a selected video on Livy Renata’s channel. A descriptive qualitative method was applied to examine the occurrences and types of code mixing present. The analysis identified 47 code-mixing instances, comprising 16 insertions (34%), 24 alternations (51%), and 7 congruent lexicalizations (15%). These findings suggest that alternation is the most dominant form of code-mixing in this context, reflecting a flexible linguistic strategy influenced by bilingual interactions. This study provides insights into how Indonesian content creators navigate multilingual communication, contributing to broader sociolinguistic discussions on digital code-mixing practices.
 Linda Rofi Saumi Eva Mazidah Copyright (c) 2026 Linda Rofi Saumi, Eva Mazidah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2026-06-29 2026-06-29 3 2 177 184 10.62048/qjms.v3i2.141
