Although abductive logic has been widely discussed in qualitative research, its role as a systematic mode of reasoning for bridging data and paradigm tensions in MMR remains underexplored. This article aims to analyze the role of abductive logic across four major MMR models: convergent, sequential, embedded, and transformative. Using a conceptual review approach, the study demonstrates that abduction functions as an interpretive mechanism for simultaneous data conflicts in the convergent model; as a bridge for reinterpretation across research phases in the sequential model; as a trigger for critically re-evaluating dominant findings through minor data in the embedded model; and as an interpretive leap that challenges dominant meanings and opens spaces for emancipation in the transformative model. These findings underscore that abductive logic expands the interpretive scope of research outcomes and strengthens reflective and context-sensitive methodological integration, particularly in educational and social policy research.

Muttaqin Khabibullah Alimin Gus Malik Imam Sholahuddin Copyright (c) 2025 Muttaqin Khabibullah, Alimin, Gus Malik Imam Sholahuddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-12-29 2025-12-29 3 1 90 102 10.62048/qjms.v3i1.125 Implementasi Manajemen Peserta Didik dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Siswi: Studi Kasus di MTS Assa’adah II, Gresik https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/130
Student management is a systematic effort undertaken by educational institutions to manage student development from admission to graduation through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. In practice, the norms of Ahwal Syakhshiyyah are not always applied textually as prescribed in classical fiqh literature, but instead undergo processes of interpretation and adjustment in accordance with the social realities of village communities. This study aims to analyze how local cultural acculturation shapes the implementation of spousal rights and obligations, as well as the patterns of Ahwal Syakhshiyyah application in the context of rural Muslim societies. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, analyzing normative sources of Islamic law, statutory regulations, and relevant sociological and anthropological literature. The data are examined through content analysis and contextual interpretation to identify patterns of integration between Islamic legal norms and local cultural values. The findings indicate that local culture plays a significant role in shaping role distribution, decision-making processes, and the resolution of household conflicts. On the one hand, patriarchal patterns that position the husband as the primary authority figure remain evident; on the other hand, more balanced husband–wife relations have emerged, particularly in economic matters and family deliberation. These findings underscore that Ahwal Syakhshiyyah in rural Muslim communities functions as a living law that is adaptive and contextual. This study contributes to the development of Islamic family law by emphasizing the importance of a contextual approach to ensure that the values of justice, compassion, and household harmony can be realized without compromising the substantive principles of Islamic teachings.
Ahmad Dahlan Nur Hazizah Wina Kurnia Dewi Fina Antisah Copyright (c) 2025 Ahmad Dahlan, Nur Hazizah, Wina Kurnia Dewi , Fina Antisah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-12-29 2025-12-29 3 1 112 119 10.62048/qjms.v3i1.108 Implementasi Metode Sorogan dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Siswa SMK Ihyaul Ulum Gresik https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/131
Qur’anic education in Islamic boarding schools does not merely emphasize memorization achievements, but also requires leadership that is capable of fostering discipline, role modeling, and sustained spiritual commitment among students. This condition leads to various physical defects in the final products and reduces the proportion of saleable bricks. The main problems identified include broken, burnt, and cracked defects. This study aims to analyze the dominant types of defects, identify their root causes, and formulate practical improvement actions applicable to MSMEs. The research employs a Pareto diagram to determine defect priorities, a fishbone diagram to identify root causes, and the 5W+1H analysis as a systematic tool for developing improvement actions. The Pareto analysis indicates that broken defects are the most dominant, accounting for 42% of total defects, followed by burnt defects at 38% and cracked defects at 20%. The fishbone analysis reveals that defects are primarily caused by unbalanced raw material composition, the absence of firing temperature measuring instruments, and uncontrolled drying processes. The 5W+1H analysis proposes improvement actions, including the use of firing temperature measurement tools, raw material measuring instruments, and the reorganization of the drying process to ensure greater stability and consistency. The study concludes that simple but well-controlled interventions in material mixing, firing, and drying stages can effectively reduce defect rates and improve the overall quality of brick production in MSMEs.
Windi Selviani Yeni Roha Mahariani Copyright (c) 2025 Windi Selviani, Yeni Roha Mahariani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-12-29 2025-12-29 3 1 13 23 10.62048/qjms.v3i1.121 Analisis Dampak dan Tantangan Pemanfaatan Sensor Kelembaban Tanah dalam sistem Irigasi Otomatis Berbasis IoT di Sektor Pertanian Indonesia https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/124
Water-use efficiency remains a major challenge in Indonesian agriculture, particularly due to climate uncertainty and limited resources. With increasing global competition, minimizing downtime during production is essential to maximize machine availability and productivity. This study investigates the application of machine learning models, specifically Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) and Random Forest (RF), to forecast CNC machine downtime from multiple failure sources. The study uses data collected from 16 CNC machines at Company A in Malaysia over an extended period. The data contain key variables for each downtime event, such as machine ID, failure type, start date/time, end date/time, and downtime duration in minutes. Failure types are categorized into several groups, including mechanical, electrical, and tool malfunctions. After hyperparameter tuning, the XGBoost model outperformed the RF model, achieving a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.4017, Root MSE (RMSE) of 0.634, and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.470 on the test set, while the RF model yielded higher errors, with an MSE of 1.2654, RMSE of 1.125, and MAE of 0.943. These results demonstrate the superiority of the XGBoost model over RF in predicting future CNC downtime, as indicated by its lower prediction errors. Future work should focus on refining the model with larger, more diverse datasets and exploring its integration into AI-based decision support systems to enhance machine availability and operational efficiency.
Amir Aminuddin Adam Shariff Kamarulzaman Mahmad Khairai Copyright (c) 2025 Amir Aminuddin, Adam Shariff, Kamarulzaman Mahmad Khairai https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2025-12-29 2025-12-29 3 1 59 74 10.62048/qjms.v3i1.137
