Marriage is the bond between a man and a woman, both physically and emotionally, aimed at building a family characterized by sakinah (tranquility), mawaddah (love), and rahmah (compassion). One of the traditions in marriage is the bridal procession, which involves escorting the bride and groom on foot after the wedding ceremony (akad nikah). This study aims to examine the implementation process of the bridal procession and its analysis through the perspective of urf. The research method used is qualitative, employing field research. The findings reveal that the bridal procession in wedding ceremonies in Morocalan Village, Glagah Sub-district, Lamongan Regency, is performed by the groom. The groom is escorted on foot from one end of the village to the bride's house. This tradition serves as an expression of gratitude for the end of bachelorhood and as a way to celebrate the wedding, which is considered a once-in-a-lifetime event. From the perspective of Islamic law and urf, the bridal procession is deemed a legitimate tradition, as it does not contravene Indonesia’s positive law or Islamic principles. Furthermore, this tradition carries positive values for both the bride and groom and their families
Richah Rahmawati, Siti Aminah Copyright (c) 2024 Richah Rahmawati, Siti Aminah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/59 Wed, 01 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Psychological Approach in Islamic Studies https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/61
The integration of psychological approaches in Islamic studies has gained significant attention in recent years, emphasizing the understanding of human behavior, mental processes, and emotions through both scientific and Islamic perspectives. This paper explores how Islamic teachings, particularly from the Quran and Hadith, align with modern psychological principles, offering a comprehensive framework for mental health, personal development, and emotional well-being. The application of concepts such as nafs (self/soul), fitrah (innate nature), and ruh (spirit) are discussed in relation to psychological theories of personality, motivation, and mental health. By bridging these fields, the study seeks to demonstrate how psychological tools and therapeutic techniques can be adapted within an Islamic framework to enhance spiritual and mental well-being, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, and personal growth. This interdisciplinary approach not only enhances the relevance of Islamic teachings in contemporary mental health discussions but also offers new perspectives for understanding human nature through a spiritual and scientific lens.
Nuril Hidayah, Nur Faizah, Ririn Inayatul Mahfudloh Copyright (c) 2024 Nuril Hidayah, Nur Faizah, Ririn Inayatul Mahfudloh https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/61 Sat, 04 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Studi Kualitatif Efektivitas Komunikasi terhadap Pembentukan Kepribadian Remaja di Daerah Pesisir https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/69
Adolescence is a crucial developmental phase in a person’s life, during which individuals seek self-identity and understand their social roles. Ineffective communication between parents, teachers, and the social environment with adolescents can significantly impact personality formation, such as reduced self-confidence, a tendency to become introverted, or passive behavior. Communication is a primary tool in social interaction, functioning as a medium for sharing ideas, emotions, and experiences. This study aims to identify the extent to which communication effectiveness influences adolescent personality development and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of communication in the school environment of Tanjung Widoro Village, Mengare. Using a qualitative approach through observation and in-depth interviews, this study found that effective family communication significantly affects adolescents’ behavior and intrapersonal intelligence. Open communication between parents and adolescents fosters a sense of acceptance, courage in decision-making, and the ability of parents to understand and support their children’s development. Supporting factors include parental emotional involvement, consistent communication patterns, and support from the school environment. Conversely, communication barriers arise from a lack of interaction time, generational differences, and social pressures from the surrounding environment. These findings emphasize the importance of effective communication in shaping adolescent personality and provide recommendations to improve communication patterns in family and school environments.
Maslakhatul Ainiyah, M. This view is not entirely correct, but it is not entirely wrong either. MMR involves integrating quantitative and qualitative methods in a study, including all related components. However, not all simultaneous uses of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques can be considered MMR, as several key factors, such as timing, weighting, and research objectives, must be taken into account. This article aims to elaborate on various MMR models and their implementation steps, using a literature review method. The study identifies six MMR models: Sequential Explanatory, Sequential Exploratory, Concurrent Triangulation, Concurrent Embedded, Sequential Transformative, and Concurrent Transformative. However, the last two models are not discussed in detail due to their lower popularity. The Sequential Explanatory model integrates quantitative and qualitative methods sequentially, with greater emphasis on quantitative methods to provide additional information. Similarly, the Sequential Exploratory model is conducted sequentially but places more weight on qualitative data to connect findings. The Concurrent Triangulation model integrates both methods simultaneously, with equal weighting to compare data, while the Concurrent Embedded model combines the methods simultaneously but prioritizes one as the primary method and the other as the secondary method, aiming to compare data. Our findings provide practical guidelines for researchers in implementing each MMR model, particularly by highlighting aspects that are often overlooked in previous literature. These guidelines are expected to help researchers select and apply models that align with their research needs.
Muttaqin Khabibullah, Alimin, Gus Malik Imam Sholahuddin Copyright (c) 2024 Qomaruna Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/55 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Self-Management untuk Meningkatkan Manajemen Waktu Siswa https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/66
Learning is an activity that requires effective time management to achieve productivity and efficiency. Maintaining their accuracy and precision under challenging conditions after long-term usage is crucial. This study aims to evaluate CNC product quality using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and enhance long-term performance through data-driven approaches. The method of this study focuses on analyzing scrap rate data, employing a u-chart to monitor stability, and applying machine learning regression models—K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) and Random Forest (RF)—to forecast scrap rates. These forecasts help identify when preventive maintenance is necessary, preserving machine precision over time. This study also applied visualization of results with Microsoft Power BI to enhance data interpretation, aiding quick responses to potential problems. Results indicate that RF outperforms KNN in predicting scrap rates. Stacking these models further improves accuracy, offering a more reliable decision-making tool for anticipating quality issues. By detecting anomalies early, manufacturers can implement timely maintenance, minimizing downtime and prolonging CNC machine lifespan. In conclusion, integrating scrap rate analysis, statistical process control, and advanced machine learning techniques can maintain product quality and reduce inaccuracies. This area faces increased groundwater usage for domestic and industrial purposes through deep wells, which has the potential to cause ongoing land subsidence. This study employed Plaxis and Geostudio software to model and predict the extent of land subsidence. Simulation results indicate that Plaxis predicts greater land subsidence than Geostudio, at 13.44 cm/year with pump usage and 3.91 cm/year without pumps. Conversely, Geostudio predicts subsidence of 12.01 cm/year with pump usage and only 0.022 cm/year without pumps. Pump usage has proven to have a significant impact, particularly at Building A of Pelita Bangsa University, where the risk of land subsidence increases by up to 293.09% with pumps. This study aims to identify groundwater levels, soil layers experiencing the greatest subsidence, the extent of subsidence due to water extraction, and the impact of pump usage on land subsidence in the Kaligawe area. The findings conclude that excessive pump usage significantly increases the rate of land subsidence. Policies supporting sustainable groundwater management are needed to address this issue, such as limiting deep well usage, increasing surface water utilization, and implementing water conservation technologies. Additionally, regular monitoring of groundwater levels and subsidence rates is necessary to prevent further impacts on infrastructure and the environment in South Cikarang.
Yonas Prima Arga Rumbyarso Copyright (c) 2024 Qomaruna Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/62 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Rancang Bangun Prototype Sistem Kontrol Suhu dan Monitoring PH Air pada Aquarium Benih Ikan Lele Dumbo Menggunakan Arduino UNO dan NodeMcu Berbasis Internet Of Things (IoT) https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/60
Cultivation of Dumbo Catfish requires optimal water quality management to ensure healthy fry growth. Key parameters to monitor are water temperature and pH, as imbalances can negatively affect the health and growth of the fish. This study aims to design and develop a prototype water quality monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using Arduino UNO and NodeMCU. In ideal cultivation conditions, the optimal water acidity (pH) ranges between 6–9, and the ideal water temperature is 26–30 °C. Using Arduino UNO and NodeMCU IoT technology, fish farmers can more easily control temperature and monitor water pH in the fry nursery aquariums. Arduino is the microcontroller, while the NodeMCU Wi-Fi module connects the microcontroller to the Blynk application as the user interface. Temperature regulation is achieved through water heaters and Peltier elements. Test results indicate that the system can maintain an average temperature of 26 °C and an average pH of 6, consistent with manual measurements using a water thermometer and litmus paper. The heating and cooling systems function optimally, with an average delay time of 13.5884298 milliseconds, significantly lower than the 150-millisecond threshold. Thus, the system operates effectively, facilitating fish farmers in real-time monitoring and controlling aquarium water quality.
Mohammad Hariyadi, Ellys Kumala Pramartaningthyas, Siti Ma'shumah, Mohammad Fikri Abdullah Salam Copyright (c) 2024 Qomaruna Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://jurnal.uqgresik.ac.id/index.php/qjms/article/view/60 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700
